There is a tremendous need for new referees in our county and it is incumbent on every club to have at least 2 active referees in their club. Every club is asked to make a serious effort over the next two weeks to have new referees from your club.
We have a proud reputation for an excellent number of fine referees in the county and presently we have continued to uphold our reputation outside the county with 3 inter-county referees.
The onus is on each and every club to encourage a big number to attend the foundation course on the three nights.
We are hoping for a great response from every club. Please forward your nominated referees for the new foundation course immediately as preparations have to be made in advance for the hosting of the course.
