“It was a brilliant experience,” Maura said. “I saw an advert in the Daily Star a while back and just decided to enter the competition,” she said.

The Babe of the Year participant was selected from hundreds of hopefuls and joined the other 11 contestants last weekend for what turned out to be a fun filled three days. “I got down to the final 12 and that was great,” said Maura. “We got the hair and make up done and we were given all the outfits which were fabulous and fun. We did three fashion shows a day throughout the three day event and we got to wear the motor bike gear and stuff like that, so it was great fun.” Although she failed to secure the title on this occasion, Maura was delighted to take part saying she had a great time and made great contacts .
