Annamarie Flynn (née McGirl), Clonrollagh, Longford / Leitrim

The death occurred, peacefully, at the Mater Private Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, April 18 of Annamarie Flynn (née McGirl), Clonrollagh, Longford, formerly of Drumgorman, Leitrim. Predeceased by her parents Pat and Evelyn. Beloved wife of JJ (formerly of Aughnasheelin, Leitrim), dear mother to Eadaoin and Seán. Annamarie will be sadly missed by her loving family, sisters Patricia (McGirl, Longford), Kathleen (Gillespie, Dungloe) and Eileen (McGirl, Leitrim), mother-in-law Aileen, nieces Sarah Higgins and Ailbhe O’Brien, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, her extended family, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.
Removal on Friday, April 21 to arrive at St Mel’s Cathedral for 6.30pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday, April 22 at 10.30am. Interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery. Family home private, please.


Kathleen ‘Katty’ Gibbons, Clonfower, Lanesboro, Longford
The death occurred, peacefully at Innis Ree Lodge nursing home Ballyleague, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, April 19 of Kathleen ‘Katty’ Gibbons, Clonfower, Lanesboro, Longford. Predeceased by her brothers Tom and Noel. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing sister Eva and brother Kevin, nephews, nieces, sisters in law Bernadette, Eileen and Noreen relatives and friends RIP.
Reposing at Farrell's Funeral Home Lanesboro on Friday, April 21 from 5pm to 7pm. Removal to St Mary's Church Lanesboro arriving at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday, April 22 at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Clonbonny cemetery. House Private Please.

The death occurred on Wednesday, April 19 of Patrick (Pakie) Harten, Cappragh, Ballyheelan, Kilnaleck, Co Cavan. Son of the late Felix and Mary Harten, Moydrisken. Brother of the late Phyllis Galligan, Frank Harten and Nan Daly. Deeply regretted by his wife Katie, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and extended family. Reposing at Briody's Funeral Home, Kilnaleck on Thursday, April 20 from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on Friday, April 21 at 11am in St Mary's Church, Ballinarry. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death occurred, peacefully at Laurel lodge Nursing Home Longford, on Tuesday, April 18 of Helen McGivney (née Cotter), Aughacordrinan, Aughnacliffe, Longford / Clare. Beloved wife of the late Paddy, Loving mother of John, Thomas, Oliver and Marie. Deeply regretted by her sons, daughter, sisters, Bridget, May, Susan and Peg, daughters in law, son in law, brothers in law, sisters in law grandchildren, Mark, Emma, Killian, Lauren, Megan, Evan, Tiernan, Dara and Finn, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposed at the home of her son Oliver on Wednesday, April 19. House private thereafter and on Thursday please. Funeral mass on Friday, April 21 at 11am in St Colmcille's Church, Aughnacliffe with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.


Patricia ‘Pattie’ Farrelly (née Prior), 'Maryville', Ballinamore, Leitrim
The death occurred on Wednesday, April 19 of Patricia ‘Pattie’ Farrelly (née Prior), 'Maryville', Ballinamore, Leitrim. Predeceased by her husband Dr Edward. She will be sadly missed by her family Geraldine, Mary and Eamon, her grandchildren Ciara, Ria, Michael, Nicola, Aisling, Killian and Lauren, sons-in-law Ross and Michael, daughter-in-law Hilary, sister-in-law Doreen, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace.
Removal on Thursday evening, April 20 arriving to St Patrick’s Church, Ballinamore at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday, April 21 at 12 noon followed by burial in Oughteragh cemetery, Ballinamore.


Mary Kate Beirne (née Doherty), Toorymartin, Carrick-on-Shannon, Roscommon
The death occurred, peacefully at Sligo University Hospital, after a short illness, on Monday, April 17 of Mary Kate Beirne (née Doherty), Toorymartin, Carrick-on-Shannon, Roscommon. Wife of the late Charlie, deeply regretted by her sons Joseph and Patrick, daughters Geraldine Jolley and Bernadette, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, sister Rosaleen Lavin, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposed at the family home on Wednesday, April 19. Funeral Mass on Thursday, April 20 at 1pm in St Michael's Church, Drumlion followed by burial in Drumlion Cemetery.

The death occurred, in her 104th year and peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, April 18 of Winnifred ‘Lally’ Anderson (née Connolly), Rosehill, Mullagh, Cavan / Kilkieran, Galway. Predeceased by her husband George, sadly missed by her sons Jimmy (USA), Martin and Chris, daughters Mary Vasquez (USA), Bridie Maguire, Dina Mulchrone, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Reposed at her home on Wednesday, April 19. House private at all other times. Removal on Thursday, April 20 for Funeral Mass at 11am in St Kilian's Church, Mullagh. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

The death occurred, peacefully, at Athlone Care Centre, in the tender loving care of the palliative care staff, on Tuesday, April 18 of Anne ‘Nan’ Daly (née Fallon), Mullaghmeehan, Ballymore, Westmeath. Predeceased by her husband, Frank; sadly missed by her son PJ, daughter Catherine, son-in-law Jay, sister May, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. May she rest in peace.
Reposed at Rooney’s Funeral Home, Ballymore on Wednesday, April 19, with removal to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer, Ballymore, at 8pm. Funeral Mass at 11am on Thursday, April 20 followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
