Welc0me bacK: Firstly we would like to welcome back all of the students and teachers after the midterm break. We hope that everyone had an enjoyable week.

Exam classes: The exam classes are waiting patiently for their mock exam results and are also in the process of doing field studies in geography and agricultural science. We would like to wish everyone good luck with their results.

Football: On Thursday last the U-14 boys football team were in the North Leinster final which was held in Tallaght. Well done to all the team who played and thank you to Mr. Swaine who is their coach.

Basketball: Last Wednesday the 1st and 2nd year boys played in matches. Well done to the 1st years who won thier match and hard luck to the 2nd years who lost their match. Thank you to Mr Thornten who coached the boys.

Celebration: On Wednesday 27th there will be a celebration for the U-16 boys basketball team. Guest speaker Jerome Westbrooks will be making a speech to congratulate the boys on their victory.

Public Meeting: ‘Bullying behaviour in our school’s.What parents and teachers need to know’. This meeting is been held in the Longford Arms Hotel at 8pm on Thursday “8th February 2013. Admission is free and everyone is welcome. This seminar is organised by the National Parents Council.

TY Activities: The TY students are currently back at work experience in lots of different places. This will commence every Friday until May. Congratulation to all students who’s outfits got past the first stage of the Junk Kouture competition. Also the TY’s are learning how to play the guitar with the help of Ms Mills.

Assessment: Assessments for incoming first years are on Saturday the 2nd march at 9.30am.
