Cairn Hill Challenge

Sunday May 5th sees the inaugural staging of the Cairn Hill Challenge Roadraces. The event, which is based in Drumlish, comprises of a set of two different runs utilising Cairn Hill to test the fitness.

First off, at 12.30pm, is the 10 mile race brings participants through the centre of Drumlish before commencing a testing route which circumnavigates the hill using country roads. 12.45pm sees the start of the 10k event which brings participants from the Village Centre to the base of Cairn Hill via a series of rolling hills with a mixture of climbs and descents to keep runners,joggers and walkers focused. Both races finish in the Village and the event is AAI certified and will be chip timed.
