The Employment, Development & Information Centre (EDI Centre) which is based in Longford town identified a need to assist unemployed jobseekers in Job Search, CV Preparation, interview skills & mock interviews.

The programme provides a range of facilities and services to support those who are unemployed, training or in part time or low paid employment, to enhance their chances of securing work. It also provides information on employment rights and entitlements, training & education programmes and computer access is available at the centre as well.

Everyone is welcome to participate in the programme and training takes palce regularly to ensure that skills and ability are top notch. It takes place on Thursday mornings from 10am to 1pm and is free. More information can be obtained by contacting the EDI Centre on (043) 3347515.
