The family business is ran by Michael Nolan Snr and his son, Niall. Business expert and media personality, Sean Gallagher, undertook the MC duties on the night and made the all important presentation.

The award is a huge vote of confidence in the Co Longford business and rightly sets its apart from its peers.

At the awards, Sean Gallagher, said he was certain that their success was in a large part due to the family’s commitment and also the dedication of their experienced and knowledgeable staff.

He told the large gathering that he was greatly impressed by the Longford business and he admired their commitment to, and constant pursuit of excellence.

He said that many businesses aspire to be the best but only a handful can attain that status.

The Nolan family are well known and respected in the motor trade and not surprisingly they have been inundated with goodwill messages since news of the award became known.

Indeed it’s been a busy few weeks on the awards circuit for the family. Both Niall and his wife, Sinead Prunty-Nolan, who also works in the business, are very active in the Longford Triathlon Club and it was another notable evening for the Nolan clan recently when Sinead travelled to the Triathlon Ireland awards night, where she collected a medal for coming second in her age category in this year’s national championship series.
