The judgement was taken by the local authority and registered against James Reynolds, of Golf Club Lane, Longford, Co Longford on March 28 before later appearing in the May edition of debt defaulter magazine, Stubbs Gazette.

Mr Reynolds is a well-known businessman in Longford town and is best known for his involvement in the Longford Arms Hotel over the years.

According to the journal, a judgement of €66,164 has been registered against Mr Reynolds with a further €795 costs to be ascerted.
