RSM Farrell Grant has been awarded an International Accounting Bulletin ‘Network of the Year’ Award.

The company which faced strong competition from fellow accountancy networks succeeded in receiving the accolade which celebrates achievements in the international accounting network arena and highlight individuals, businesses and networks that have moved the industry forward.

RSM, the seventh largest global network of independent audit, tax and advisory firms, faced strong competition from fellow networks PwC, Grant Thornton International and BDO - all of whom were shortlisted in the same category.

The Network of the Year award recognises networks that have demonstrated strong growth and operational excellence over the past 12 months. RSM admitted firms from 11 countries to its network in 2013, including Baker Tilly.

Jean Stephens, Chief Executive Officer of RSM, said it was a huge honour to accept the award on behalf of RSM members globally. “Everyone involved with RSM around the world is committed to ensuring we are continually raising our standards and increasing our services and expertise to ensure clients of RSM member firms receive world-class service wherever they have needs,” she added. “I am very proud that we have been recognised by the International Accounting Bulletin in this, our 50th year.”
