Two Longford women are at the forefront of one of the largest pharmacy chains in Ireland - Lloyds Pharmacy.

With two stores in Longford already to its name, Lloyds earlier this month launched its new positivity campaign, part of a €13m investment at its 74 stores nationwide.

Two faces behind the initiative are Longford women Emily Kelly and Sian Gray. Emily Kelly, daughter to ex-Fianna Fail TD Peter Kelly and his wife Maura, is director of marketing and sales with the firm. A former student of Scoil Mhuire and a pharmacy graduate, Emily was born and raised in Longford town and is well-known throughout the community.

Meanwhile Sian Gray is a daughter of Liam Mulvihill , former GAA Director General and a star of the county’s march to National League and Leinster Championship success in 1966 and 1968.
