‘Treyvaud Travels The Shannon’ is a brand new series that for eight weeks will follow Irish TV's resident TV chef, Paul Treyvaud, captaining his own ship as he sails down The Shannon stopping off in some stunning towns and villages as he showcases to the world what a fantastic holiday destination it is.

Each week sees Paul embarking on his voyage to his next port of call where he finds out some of Ireland's most fantastic hidden gems.

The entire show aims to make the viewer feel that they too must include a cruise down The Shannon on their bucket list.

Once Paul saw the devastation of the flooding last year throughout the Shannon region, he felt that he had to try his best to help the people of the area whose livelihoods had been destroyed and the only way he knew best to do this was to film his travel show from here.

As usual, Treyvaud does things in his own unique way from cooking in some very odd locations so having some incredible fun with local characters that he meets along the way. In towns and villages that appear to be only the size of a dot on a map, Paul shows you that once you scratch the surface, you'll find a huge discovery just waiting to be found.

Treyvaud Travels The Shannon airs on Tuesday, November 1 at 8pm exclusively to Irish TV on SKY channel 191 and can be watched worldwide on their live stream on irishtv.ie
