Set in a psychiatric ward, the show follows the story of two patients as they find their place in the world…Mrs C wants a baby not a Christmas tree. B wants a real hairdressers’ scissors and a wife. D wants a snow globe and “a big head of dirty auld curls”. All of them want their own place in the world. And if they can’t find it, they’ll create one of their own…Join B and D in the care home where they are residents, and where Mrs C is a carer, on their special – “very fecking special” – journey towards happiness.

Please note this show contains partial nudity and a live snake! Check out Backstage Theatre’s new website for further details on the show as well as a video trailer.

B for Baby appears at Backstage on Tues 27th – Wed 28th Sept at 8:30pm. Tickets are €18/€16 and are available on 043 33 47888, from Farrell & Coy or on Backstage’s new website at www.backstage.ie
