“Beyond belief”, written by renowned composer and singer Fr Liam Lawton, will feature in a special retrospective of some of Disney’s most famous films, which is set for release this month.

Well known for her beautiful voice, Emer has also been chosen as the voice behind Disneyland Paris’ latest ad campaign.

The Longford native is part of ‘Affinití’, a classical-crossover group consisting of the soprano, Aisling Ennis (harp) and Mary McCague (violin).

The group, along with the Palestrina Boys Choir, Carlow Choral Society and the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, recorded the much-loved Christmas hymn ‘O Holy Night’ to raise funds for Saint Vincent de Paul (SVP).

Locals got a taste of the single in December of last year, as Emer returned home to perform as a guest soprano in St Mel’s Cathedral Centre.

Longford County Choir were joined by Emer for their annual Christmas concert.
