Padraic McIntyre is set to return to the Backstage Theatre this weekend with Marie Jones’ smash hit comedy ‘A Night in November’.

From the author of ‘Stones in His Pockets’, the play follows Ulster Protestant, Kenneth McCallister, played by Padraic McIntyre.

Kenneth, a protestant dole clerk on a search for his own identity, finds himself on the football terraces for a crucial Northern Ireland v Republic of Ireland World Cup qualifying match.

Little does he know that his hum-drum life is about to change forever.

Marie Jones’ passionate and hilarious one-man show, ‘A Night in November’, has enjoyed productions all over the world, including the West End and a successful six-month run off-Broadway.

‘A Night in November’ comes to the Backstage Theatre, Longford on Saturday, May 10.

Tickets cost €16/€14 and are available from the Backstage Theatre Box Office on 043 33 47888 or online at www.backstage.ie
