Paul Brady arrives in Longford this week for a two-night run at Backstage on Thursday and Friday night. The intimate concert will feature some of his most loved songs from the legendary singer.

With an exceptional career spanning over three decades, Paul continues to break music boundaries, bringing a traditional style of song writing and music to a new generation.
He has created more than his fair share of iconic songs … The World is What you Make it, Hard Station, The Island, Nobody Knows, Crazy Dreams and Busted Loose.
Born and raised in Strabane, he loved a wide variety of music from an early age. A Fifties child, his first sounds the Swing, Jazz, Show tunes of his parents generation. Then 50′s Rock ‘n Roll, 60′s pop and Motown, Blues, R’nB and Country and Western. Through all this ran the potent flavour of Irish traditional music and song.
Through his various collaborations and a highly successful solo career, Paul Brady continues to push out the boundaries not only of his own talent but of Irish contemporary music in the new millennium.
