Renowned Longford choreographer Marguerite Donlon has premiered her first show with the world renowned, Rambert Dance Company.
The show, titled “Labyrinth of Love”, is described by critics as both heartbreaking and humorous and is set to a commissioned score by one of America’s most performed living composers, Michael Daugherty.
The piece was just one of four pieces that made up the performance by the Rambert Dance Company at its world première at the Lowry in Manchester on 10 October before moving to Sadler’s Wells in London last week. The show will tour into the New Year.
The choreographer, who continues her dance to the very top of her field, is a daughter of Tom and Johanna, Abbeycartron, Longford and a former student of the local dance school, Shawbrook.
Marguerite also directs her own company in Germany, the Donlon Dance Company, and has a growing international reputation as a choreographer of immense talent.
