On Saturday July 2 Legan Sarsfields are hosting a Pig Roasting and BBQ in Mitchell’s pub in Legan. Tickets cost €10 and available on the night. In addition to this Dermot Bannon from RTE’s Room to Improve will also be attending. Dermot has been working in Mitchell’s for the last couple of months, redesigning Elaine Mitchell’s and Hughie Ballesty’s home behind the pub in Legan.
This Saturday Dermot will not only be helping out at the pig roast, he will also give free advice to anyone who is looking for ideas to improve their home. “No problem is too big or too small to bring to me. If someone’s house is not working then sometimes the smallest of tweaks can make a huge difference, It doesn’t always have to involve a massive amount of work,” he said.
Dermot will be there from 5pm to 9pm and is hoping lots of people turn up for advice. “I’m just looking forward to meeting people and seeing if I can be of any help.”
To get Dermot’s help all you have to do is turn up on the day . If you happen to have a couple of photographs of your house or drawings then that will also help. You may even be able to persuade Dermot to give you a sneaky look at Elaine and Hughie’s home and judge for yourself the difference an architect can make. In order to make sure you get an opportunity to chat to Dermot about your home you can book a time in advance by calling Hillary or Jane in COCO television on 01 4970817 or Paul Ross (Legan Sarsfields Chairman) 087 9793925.
