On Tuesday May 29, Frank Kilbride and the Parkhouse Hotel, Edgeworthstown, will host their annual gala charity night. Celebrating 26 years and almost half a million euros raised in funds, the event aims to assist cancer care and other local charities.
As with each year, the entertainers will give their time free of charge.
“Our success is due to the loving support of fans, sponsors and entertainers who continue to help others achieve their goals in working to towards cancer care and also helping local charities” Frank told the Leader. The evening will be hosted by Shannonside/Northernsound presenters Joe Finnegan and Eugene Murphy at the Parkhouse Hotel, Edgeworthstown. There will be a raffle on the night as well as top entertainers such as Robert Mizzell, Philomena Begley, Jimmy Buckley, Gene Stuart, Ben Troy, Lisa McHugh, Johnny Brady, Gerry Guthrie, Jason McGilligan, Shaun Loughrey, The Benn Sisters, TR Dallas , Sean Corrigan, Carmel McLoughlin, Jane McNamee, Chuck and June, Dave and Bluetacks, Angela Reid, Derek Davis and Pat Jennings.
“I am delighted to be part of this event in the Parkhouse Hotel because it is a great way to showcase the best of Irish talent. It also provides us with a great platform to raise money for a local charity,” said Northern Irish International soccer star Pat Jennings.
According to Frank, “If anyone is interested in helping out by donating prizes or lots we’d love to hear from them. Tickets are now on sale.”
