The service users from St. Christopher’s day centres in Ballymahon and Edgeworthstown have been working on the ‘Our Town’ art project for the past three years in order to create a unique art exhibition.

The project involves artists from St. Christopher’s working with students from the local primary and secondary schools, students from Youth Reach in Ballymahon and members of the Ballymahon Active Retirement Group.

The artists designed and crafted up to 65 pieces of art to hang in the shop windows of both Ballymahon and Edgeworthstown. This exhibition showcases the talent of all involved. This exhibition includes a wide variety of art mediums ranging from painting, felting, woodcraft and ceramics, to shell craft and papier mache. The exhibition will run in the shop windows of both towns until June 11 next.
