Entrance Assessment Tests: Our new incoming first year students will have their entrance assessment test on Saturday 2nd March at 10.30am. We are looking forward to seeing them all again.

Schools’ Aerial Project: Fifteen of our second year students are finalising preparations for their show which will take place in the Backstage Theatre next Monday and Tuesday evening at 8pm. We are delighted that our school has been chosen to participate in this exciting project with Fidget Feet who are Ireland’s foremost aerial dance theatre company. We would like to encourage all our students, parents and school community to support them by attending the shows. Rome School Tour: A meeting for all parents of students who are going to Rome in March on the school tour will take place in the school on Wednesday 27th February at 7pm.

School Raffle: A reminder that all sold cards should be returned to the school this week. There is still time for you to be in with a chance of winning a tablet computer for only €2 a line.

First Year Parent Teacher Meeting: A Parent Teacher meeting for all first years will take place in the school on Wednesday from 4 – 6.30pm.

First Year GAA Blitz: Well done to our First Year Gaelic Team who won four of their matches at a Football Blitz held in Mullingar last week. There were some excellent performances on the day with man of the match for Ardscoil Phadraig going to Dylan Corcoran. Other notable performances came from Carlos Jayoma, David Callaghan and Ciaran Kane.

ESB Skills at Work Project: The ESB are providing three interview panels to interview LCVP students this week. The students have been busy sending in CVs to the ESB and preparing for the interview. The interviewers will also give feedback to each student after their interview. The is a very valuable exercise for our students and we are very grateful to the ESB and the School Business Partnership for facilitating the event.
