Leitrim Vintage & Heritage Club Car Run

Leitrim Vintage & Heritage Club will host a car run on Sunday, May 13 next at the Weir Lodge, Rooskey. Proceedings kick off at 12pm and all those wishing to participate are asked to assemble from 11:45am.

Cars, tractors, motorcycles and commercial vehicles are invited to take part and there will be a ‘Finisher’s Awards’ reception back in Rooskey when the run is completed.

The car run will take a 40 mile route - a different length to that for tractors - with stops on the way to view the River Shannon and the Kilgass lakes in Rooskey, Lanesboro and Scramogue. The tractors will depart from Rooskey travelling approximately 20 miles.

It is anticipated that all vehicles will have returned to Rooskey by 2:30pm or 3pm and some light refreshments will then be served. The event will serve as a fun filled day out for all the family. Contact Danny Costello on (087) 6537510 for more details.
