Paul Brady’s January nights in Backstage

Backstage Theatre are set to kick start the New Year in style with an unmissable concert from one of Ireland’s most renowned musical acts. Singer, songwriter Paul Brady takes to the stage on Thursday 10th and Friday 11th January for an intimate concert of some of his most loved songs.

Born and raised in Strabane, he loved a wide variety of music from an early age. A Fifties child, his first sounds the Swing, Jazz, Show tunes of his parents generation. Then 50′s Rock ‘n Roll, 60′s pop and Motown, Blues, R’nB and Country and Western. Through all this ran the potent flavour of Irish traditional music and song.

With an exceptional career spanning over three decades, Paul continues to break music boundaries, bringing a traditional style of song writing and music to a new generation. He has created more than his fair share of iconic songs … Hard Station, Get Back to the Centre, The Island, Nobody Knows, Crazy Dreams and Busted Loose.
