A comedy evening with a difference is set to take place at Arva’s Breffni Arms Hotel later this month.

Aptly dubbed ‘The Three Knights of Comedy’, the evening promises to be an event like no other, showcasing the humourous talents of north Longford comedian, Ray Reilly.

The Aughnacliffe frontman, renowned for his entertaining impersonations of famous personalities, will adopt the role of an unnamed character when taking to the stage on Saturday February 25.

“It’s a person that a lot of people will probably know so I don’t want to give too much away at this stage,” said a tight-lipped Mr Reilly this week.

Now based outside Trim, Co Meath, the talented comic has been busy dividing his time between comedy and his other main focus-acting.

Over the past 12 months, Mr Reilly has played leading roles in two feature length films, ‘Snatch and Bail’ and more recently locally based production ‘No Party For Billy Burns’.

Arguably, his biggest opening came last year when organisers behind international TV drama series ‘Titanic: Blood and Steel’ came knocking on the Longford native’s door.
