New dance venue for Cavan

The Country Club, situated at the Hotel Kilmore will open its doors on Saturday October 27th, with top country star Jimmy Buckley and his band providing the entertainment.

Speaking to the Longford Leader earlier in the week, Promotor Joe Finnegan enthused: ”I’m really very excited because the venue has been newly built and designed to suit the needs and the requirements of those who love to go dancing.”

Nathan Carter, Robert Mizzell, Mike Denver, Patrick Feeney and Declan Nerney are just some of the big names that will perform at the Country Club over the next few weeks. Dancing will take centre stage every Saturday night from 11pm to 1am, with a great country disco giving dancers the chance to warm up before the big bands take to the stage. A door prize will be up for grabs every night and snacks will also be available at the end of the evening.
