Autumn competition: Our last competition theme was entitled,”Autumn”, and it attracted a large number of entries. The open theme allowed for flexibility in interpretation and this was reflected in the variety and quality of the images submitted. The result was: 1st - “Birr Castle Gardens”, by David Burns. 2nd - “Chestnuts”, by Anne Noone. 3rd - “Lough Gowna”, by Fiona Fenelon.

Congratulations to the winners and a big thank you to all members who entered.

Club Calendar: The club calendar is now on sale, price €5, and is available in many shops throughout the county. This year we are supporting Longford Hospice and Longford Meals on Wheels. We extend our sincere thanks to those who sponsored this year’s issue - your support in difficult times is very much appreciated.
