Local poet launches new book

Poet, Dr. Philip Brady, who has strong links to Longford, will hold a local launch his fifth book of poetry, ‘Missing’ on Wednesday November 7 in Longford Library 7.30pm.

Philip is a native of Edgeworthstown and was educated at St. Mel’s College, Longford and graduated from University College Dublin in Arts and Medicine. He is a family doctor in Edenderry, Co Offaly.

His previous titles include ‘The Music of Humanity’, ‘Sunlight and Shadows,, ‘The Moon on the Ruins’ and ‘An Island Road’. Previous launches of the book were held in Edenderry and Dublin.
