Longford Lions’ Club are running a charity cycle on Sunday July 22 at 11am. The event will start and finish at The Mall Complex, Longford, and participants can choose from a 10km, 30km or 50km circuit. The 10km and 30km routes are flat and would suit all abilities.

Funds raised from this event will benefit some of Longford’s local charities and the Chernoybl children who are currently visiting the town. All are encouraged to come out and support these worthwhile charities - and have a great time while keeping fit.

If you are interested in doing the cycle you can get a sponsorship card from Longford Lions’ Club by ringing Niall Gannon (086) 8507730 or Paddy Quinn (087) 2569801. There will be lots to eat and drink after the race, kindly provided by Longford Chernoybl Committee.
