John Hogan kicks off new weekly dancing at Abbey Hotel

John Hogan and his band will launch Social Dancing at the Abbey Hotel, Roscommon Town in October 7 next.

Well-known broadcaster and promoter Joe Finnegan has this week announced the arrival of a new weekly dance event at the Abbey Hotel in Roscommon Town which kicks off with gusto on Sunday, October 7 next with John Hogan and his band (pictured).

Social dancing has become extremely popular all over Ireland, so now enthusiasts are invited to dance the day away every Sunday afternoon at the luxurious Abbey Hotel. Mr Finnegan confirmed to the Leader this week that he is responding to a huge demand in the region for an event of this kind to be held at the Hotel, a venue which is now regarded nationwide as one of the top dancing venues in the country. Tea, coffee and refreshments will be served every Sunday afternoon and other acts confirmed for the venue include the Irish Knights from Mayo, Sho-Bud from Monaghan, TR Dallas and lots more. Admission €8.
