Dancing at Abbey and Landmark Hotels

With social dancing becoming such a popular source of entertainment of late, hotels in the region have taken note and announced dancing events taking place this weekend.

Popular broadcaster and promoter, Joe Finnegan has announced a new weekly dance event starting this Sunday afternoon, November 18th at the Abbey Hotel in Roscommon town. Mr Finnegan said he is responding to requests from the region as there was a huge demand for an event of this kind in the Abbey Hotel (renowned nationwide as one of Ireland’s top dancing venues). This week’s entertainment is provided by Frank Nelson. Tea and Coffee will be served while other acts such as ‘Limelite’ perform. Admission is only $8.

This Sunday night, November 18th, from 10:30pm in the Landmark Hotel, Carrick-On-Shannon, big band dancing continues with Ireland’s latest singing sensation Gerry Guthrie and his band who will entertain with his lively country dance music. The Landmark Hotel in Carrick-on-shannon is one of the regions premier hotels and to coincide with the Sunday night dancing the hotel has put special B&B and dinner rates in place!
