Arva gets set for Soapbox Challenge

The Arva Soapbox Challenge is to make its long awaited return later this month.

The Arva Soapbox Challenge is to make its long awaited return later this month.

After much anticipation and excitement, the Arva Soapbox Challenge is to make its long awaited return to the streets of the Co Cavan town in just over a week’s time.

In keeping with the locality’s long held tradition in raising funds for charity, all funds from this year’s event will go to Barretstown-a specially designed camp that helps children and their families affected by serious illness.

An occasion for all the family to enjoy, the soapbox funfest will take place in Arva on Saturday August 25 from 6pm.

For entry forms and general information ahead of this year’s event, log onto www.arvasoapbox.com.
