Abbeylara presents the ‘Story of the Titanic’

The parish of Abbeylara is gearing itself up this week, for another fund-raising event which will see all proceeds raised on the night go towards the local parish centre.

The parish will present the ‘Story of the Titanic’ in narration, song and dance which will be performed by the Mullahoran Drama Variety Group on Friday, November 30 next at the Community Centre in Granard at 8:30pm.

The night will also include a selection of comedy sketches including ‘The Dail’ and ‘Mrs Brown’ as will as several mime acts of some of the greatest pop acts such as Elvis, Michael Jackson and Tina Turner. Refreshments will be served and a raffle will be held with lots of great prizes up for grabs. Admission €10.

Everyone is welcome to what is guaranteed to be a great night’s entertainment in north Longford!
