Sad passing of Bridie Connaughton

The death took place this week of Bridie Connaughton (née Farrell), Errigal Road, Drimnagh, Dublin, peacefully in her 101st year.

A native of Lisnacusha, Lanesboro, Co. Longford, Bridie was pre-deceased by her husband Johnny, and her brother Joe Farrell, who passed away earlier this year. She is sadly missed by her loving family, daughters Ann (Gillett) and Maura, son-in-law John, sister Phil, grandchildren Janine, Lisa, Leanne and Lydia, great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The removal of Ms Connaughton’s remains arrived at St. Mary’s Church, Lanesboro yesterday (Tuesday) for Mass of the Resurrection, followed by interment afterwards in Rathcline Cemetery.
