Shane Brennan 5K Run /Walk: Despite the early morning down pours the run/walk was a big success. Eventually the skies cleared and it turned out to be perfect conditions for the event. 275 ran that is up 100 on last year. Many did the walk and it was great to see to many young children participating. The overall winner was for the first time a woman, International Cross Country Runner and London Olympic Marathon Runner, Linda Byrne from Dublin. The financial breakdown will be published later.

Epilepsy Association – Thanks: Thanks to all who contributed to the Church Gate Collection which came to €390.

Clonguish Calendar: There are still some copies of the Parish Calendar available in the Local Shops and in the Sacristy after Masses. Cost is €3.

Scór na nÓg: Our Scór na nÓg Question Time team of Ciaran Madden, Veronica Breslin and Dearbhaile Madden will participate in the Leinster Final which will be hosted by the Erin’s Isle Club in Finglas on Saturday 12th January. All support from the club would be greatly appreciated.
