Loch Gowna/Upper Erne Anglers in association with Hughie Brady Arva and Crumlin Childrens Hospital open boat pike fishing competition on Sunday 14th October . Venue Derries lake. BABY GIRL: Congratulations to Georoid and Sharon Reilly Cloone Loch Gowna on the birth of their their third child named Abagail. The happy event occurred at Cavan General Hospital recently. We wish you every happiness in the years ahead.

GOWNA COMMUNITY ALERT: Public meeting on this Wednesday night 10th October in St Brgids Community Centre at 8pm.Issues from crime prevention ,text alerting to community care. Speakers on the night include Vanessa Clarke Muintir na Tire ,Sgt Noel Hanaghy,Insp Seamus Boyle,Garda Ann Marie Larkin and Sgt Willie Ward. Everyone welcome and encourage your neighbour to attend.

SYMPATHY: Sympathy is extended to Mrs Rose Cunningham Church View Loch Gowna on the death of her brother in law Larry Cunningham Cloughernal Granard. Also sympathy to Larry’s wife Beatrice,sons Lorcan and Barry,daughters Regina and Sinead,sisters Sheila Kathleen and Breda grandchildren nephews nieces in law relatives and friends. May he rest in peace.
