FAMILY FLEADH IN GOWNA: Family Fleadh in St Brigids Community Centre this Wednesday 15th August commencing at 8pm. Join our local Gowna traditional, folk and ballad musicians . Guest appearances including Patsy O’Hagan. The Bard of Armagh,Terry McGovern and musicians from Armagh. Free admission. Everyone welcome.

LOCH GOWNA LADIES GFC: Gowna ladies GFC would like to thank everyone who baked,gave donations and helped out in any way at their recent cake sale and coffee morning.

THANKS: On behalf on the organising committee of the annual sponsored walk in aid of the Irish Kidney Assoc/transplant team oncology Adelaide /Meath hospital Dublin which took place on Sunday 3rd June from Ballinagh to Cloncovid. Rose Dalton Middletown Loughduff would like to express sincere thanks to everyone who sponsored and helped in anyway. This year a total of 9,650 euro was raised and due to your continuous support over the past 8 years a total of 130,000 euro has been raised. Presentation will take place at a later date.

NEW ARRIVAL: Congratulations to Brian and Diane O’Reilly, Middletown, Loughduff on the birth of their third child. A welcome addition for proud grandparents John and Rita Brady Aughavains Loch Gowna and Mrs Mary O’Reilly Middleton. We wish you health and happiness for the future.

BABY BOY: Congratulations to Ronald and Annette Simpson, Aughavains Loch Gowna on the birth of their baby boy which occurred at Cavan General Hospital recently. A welcome addition for proud grandparents Mrs Noelle Simpson Gowna Village and Seamus and Mary Joe Conboy, Cornakelly, Moyne.
