Ladies GFC: Mostrim Ladies Gaelic football Club is collecting any unwanted clothing, shoes, curtains and bed linen on Friday July 20th next between 7pm and 9pm and again on Saturday July 21st between 11am and 1pm. Wedding: Congratulations to Camilla White, Lisderry and Robert Rowsome who were married on Saturday July 7th in Boherquill. Wishing them all the best in their married life together.

Anointing of the Sick: Anointing of the Sick takes place in the Manor Nursing Home at 11am Mass on Thursday July 19th next.

Leinster Fleadh Finals: Congratulations to the Mostrim Ladies Set Dancers who came second at Leinster and who now go on to represent Leinster and Longford at the all Ireland Fleadh in Cavan in August. Also well done to the many Co Longford musicians who qualified for the All-Ireland especially all the locals. Aisling Reilly took gold in the fiddle slow airs U12 and Bronze in Traditional fiddle. Kate Beirne From Glen took gold in the Piano Accordion U15 while Aoife Mulligan from Shantum took silver in the Piano U15. Colm Gilchriest took Bronze in the Ceili Drums U12. Owen Smith took Bronze in the Mandolin U15. We also had two Gold Medal drummers, Hughie Smith in the senior category and Eoghan Gilchriest U18. Well done to them all.
