WEDDING:Congratulations to Paul Leavy Clondra & Milan and Kara Minihan San Antonia Texas who were recently married in the Church of Nativity Keadue Co Roscommon.

Celebrants performing the marriage ceremony were Fr Brendan Sullivan Longford and Fr Nigel Charles Killashee. Maid of honour Lori Minihan,bridesmaids Kelly Lauder,bestman Colin McGlynn,friend of the groom and groomsman Shane Leavey cousin of the groom. The reception took place at Killronan castle on a beautiful sunny day with relations friends and guests having travelled from Alabama Texas New York, Boston,London Italy and many pats of Ireland,Clondra and Killashee giving an international presence to the celebrations. We take this opportunity to wish Kara and Paul every happiness in their married life together as they set up home in Milan Italy. The happy couple are presently spending their honeymoon in Greece.

DEATH:The death of Larry Farrel Slieve Clondra and formerly Ballymacormack Longford took place recently at Mullingar General Hospital. Deceased’s health had been failing in the past few months. A warm kind hearted man and always a very obliging neighbour when called upon. He will be sadly missed by all who had the good fortune to have known him. His heartbroken wife Ethna daughters Marcella Mulryan Lanesboro;Mary Parker Edgeworthstown , sister Mary Hand,sons in law brother in law grandchildren great grandchildren relatives friends and neighbours we extend our deepest sympathy . His remains were interred in Clonbonny cemetery. May he RIP.

CEMETRY SUNDAY: Cemetery Sunday will take place on the 12th August. Mass and blessings of graves Killashee at 10.30am.Mass and blessing of graves in Ballinakill at 3pm and blessing of the graves in Clondra at 7.30pm before the 8 o’clock Sunday evening mass.
