Thank You: Vinny and Kathy Lyons would like to thank Carrigallen GAA for the use of the facilities; to our local businesses and representatives for supplying sponsorship for the Carrigallen 10k Race/Walk for MDI on the 30 June 2012. Thanks to our local press for their help in publishing the event details in the local papers, church bulletins and on community websites; to the Runners, Walkers, Sid and T Bone for taking to the roads by participating in the event. We had over 100 participants and just wanted to let you know that we could not have managed without the support of volunteers and staff from MDI, Civil Defence, Garda, Run Ireland, Bank of America and the Carrigallen Credit Union. We had a great turnout of friends, family, helpers and stewards on the day. It took many hands to make it a safe, fun, worthwhile event. We are currently in the process of trying to obtain some matching funds and will publish the grand total after all funds are received by the charity. We hope to see you all again next year. Please check out the photos on Facebook page Carrigallen 10k Race/Walk for MDI.
