Community Games: thanks to all who either turned out to help on day/Bake an item or just dropped in to have a cup of tea on day - each euro raised goes towards community games for your parish and enables us to provide the extensive list of sport and cultural opportunities for the children of the parish - without it we would not be able to provide this! So on behalf of the Committee we express our thanks for helping out in any way last Sunday.” Our AGM is tonight in Lyons Pub(Red) if you wish to drop in and help us plan for next year - we would really appreciate the extra help that is required to run everything - 9pm Lyons Pub - thanks.”

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: A sincere thank you to the community of Ardagh , neighbours & friends for all their support kindness and comfort during the weekend of Tom’s death. A special thank you to the gardai ,Fr Pat Lennon PP,Tom’s friends who did guard of honour,the ushers, the people in the community centre who looked after so many people and all gave up their weekend without thought. All your help and support was very much appreciated and helped us get through this difficult time.

BENEFIT NIGHT:Friends of Joe Croash are hosting a benefit night in the Longford greyhound track on Friday 20th July 2012. Over the coming weeks there will be ticket sellers calling to the houses in the parish looking for your support for this very worthwhile cause. Tickets are 10 euro each and are also available from the parochial house.

GAA SUMMER CAMP: As school holidays are upon us our focus now changes to our local Kelloggs GAA Cul Camp. This year our local camp will take place again in Keenan Park Ardagh from Monday July 23 to Friday 27th July commencing at 10am until 2.30pm each day. BEREAVEMENT: The death occurred on Sunday 24th June of Rose Murray Killenastra .To her sons Sean Seamus and Gerry,daughter Frances,sister Ann ,son in law ,daughters in law. Grandchildren great grandchild,relatives and friends deepest sympathy is extended. May she rest peace.
