Dring

The death occurred on December 29 at St Joseph's Hospital, Longford of Sean Leavy, Ballinroey, Dring, Co Longford. Deeply regretted by his wife Madge, children Jim and Mary, brothers, sisters, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Rest in peace. Funeral Mass took place in St Jospeh's Hospital Chapel followed by funeral in adjoining cemetery

The death occurred at Beaumont Hospital following a long illness bravely borne of Sean Lennon, Stonepark, Longford, aged 36 years. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Fiona (nee Brennan), brothers, sisters, father-in-law Dermot, aunts, uncle, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends. Mass of the Resurrection took place on Tuesday followed by interment afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery.

Ann Prunty Killian

Drumlish

The death occurred on December 26th after a long illness bravely borne, of Ann Prunty Killian, Breanrisk, Drumlish, Co Longford. Sadly missed by her father Thomas, sisters Mary, Helen, Teresa and Breege, brothers Seamus and Thomas, husband Francis, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brothers-and-sister-in-law, grandmother, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and a wide circle of friends. Rest in peace. Funeral Mass took place in St Mary's Church, Newtownforbes on December 28th, followed by interment in a local cemetery.

Killashee

The death occurred at The Manor Nursing Home, Edgeworthstown of Kevin McWeeney, Cloontaghmore, Killashee, Co Longford on December 29. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary, daughter Emer, sons Cathal and James, sisters Eithne and Eileen, brother-in-law Harry, sisters-in-law Kathleen and Peggy, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends. Rest in peace. Funeral Mass took place on December 31st followed by funeral at Ballymacormack Cemetery.

John Curran

Granard

The death took place on Decemnber 21 of John Curran, Main Street, Granard, Co Longford and formerly of Cornaghy, Carrigallen, Co Leitrim. Sadly missed by his loving wife Teresa, relatives and his many friends. Rest in peace. Funeral took place on December 23rd following Requiem Mass at Granardkille Cemetery.

Michael McManus

Clondra & Dring

The death occurred on Tuesday, December 17th of Michael (Joe) McManus of Clondra and Dring, husband of the late Hannah. He was also predeceased by his son John Joe. His remains were buried on Friday, December 20 in Clondra Church. Deepest sympathy in their bereavement is extended to his loving family Maureen (Cox), Tom and Eileen (Bodiam), sisters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

The death has occurred in Akron, Ohio of John Collum, formerly of Baraghmore, Drumlish, Co Longford on December 19th at an advanced age. He is survived by his brother Pat, sisters Catherine, Rose and Brigid, nephews and nieces.
