Here are the Longford Leader Death Notices for Friday 7 September.

Joe Farrell, Lanesborough

The death has taken place of Joe Farrell of Lisnacusha, Lanesborough, Longford. He died peacefully, at Innis Ree Nursing Home, Ballyleague. Beloved husband of Patsy. Sadly missed by his loving family, wife Patsy, daughter Jacinta (McCormack), sons Ron, Paul and Joe Joe, sisters Bridie and Phil, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence from 12 noon on Saturday. Removal from his residence on Sunday to arrive at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Ballyleague for Mass of the Resurrection at 1pm. Interment afterwards in Rathcline Cemetery.

The staff and management of the Longford Leader wish to extend their sympathies to the bereaved.
