Here are the Longford Leader Death Notices for Wednesday 25 July.

Anne Conneely, Arva

The death has taken place of Anne (Nancy) Conneely (nee Smith) of Hollybank, Arva, Cavan. Peacefully. Reposing at her residence with Removal this Wednesday evening at 6.30pm to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Arva arriving at 7pm. Family only from 5pm please. Funeral Mass tomorrow, Thursday, at 11am followed by Burial in Coronea Cemetery.

Alice Gaynor, Ballinagh

The death has occurred of Alice Gaynor (nee Sheridan) of Garrymore, Ballinagh, Cavan. Peacefully, after a short illness in the loving care of the staff of Windfield Nursing Home, Dunboyne, Co. Meath. Beloved mother of Colette, Kathleen, Frances, Michael and Freda. Pre-deceased by her husband Pearse and daughter Mary; deeply regretted by her sister Mae, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan from 4pm to 6.30pm on Thursday, July 26th, followed by Removal to St. Felim’s Church, Ballinagh to arrive at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Friday, July 27th, at 11am followed by Burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The staff and management of the Longford Leader wish to extend their sympathies to the bereaved.
