Here are the death notices for Friday, 17 August.

Josephine (Josie) McKeown (née Reilly), Gortahurk, Ballinagh, Cavan

Formerly of Farrinseer, Cornafean and Drumcrow, Corlismore, Co Cavan. Reposing at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan from 5pm on Friday evening until removal at 6.30pm to St Felim’s Church, Ballinagh, arriving at 7pm. Requiem mass on Saturday morning at 11am, followed by burial in Coronea Cemetery. Family flowers only please.

The management and staff at the Longford Leader wish to convey their sympathies to the bereaved.
