JACKPOT NOW €6800: The last draw was October 1st and the numbers were 1, 6, 19, & 23 there was no winner and the drawn ticket winners were Willie Rooney, Helen Coyle and Mary & Batty Murphy. Next draw is the 15th of October in Connaughton’s. Thank you to all who buy a ticket, you are helping to support local projects and the next big project is to develop the rest of the RCD field into a community park. RATHOWEN UNITED: Rathowen United played against Colmcille in their home pitch. All the Rathowen players had a fantastic game with one goal for Rathowen from Alan Fulham. John Casey was in goals and did a fantastic job and was given man of the match. Whistle blew with Rathowen 1 and Colmcille 1. Great support turned out for Rathowen and they need more for the next game that is on this Saturday, all to be confirmed, so please keep an eye on their face book page for details. So come along and cheer on the lads!!!!

BABY DAITHI: Congratulations to Orla McLoughlin and David O’Hara on the birth of their second child and first son Daithi. Daithi took his time and had everyone waiting patiently for him until he was ready to meet all on the 3rd October, he weighed in at 10lb 13.5oz and Daithi has a big sister Clodagh. Congratulations also to granny and granddad McLoughlin as Daithi is their second grandchild.
