St. Brigid’s Gaels: Ladies Football Club are delighted to announce the official launch of our new Girls Gaelic Football Club on Sunday the 14th of October at 12p.m. in Keenan Park, Ardagh. Challenge match on the day with Carrickedmond -V- St. Brigid’s Gaels. Refreshments served after the match. Please come and support this new and exciting club.

Gun Club Shoot: – change of date - The Annual Gun Club Clay Shoot will be held this Sunday 14th October at 2pm. All members are welcome to attend.

Community Games: AMG Community Games Youth Club has returned every Friday night in the Ardagh Community Centre from 7-8pm. ALL children from 2nd class up are most welcome to come play badminton, table tennis, chess and draughts. 2 Euro per child. Please sign up for the rota of parents to take turns supervising once a month. All help is much appreciated. All children will soon be receiving a selection sheet for Community Games activities that they would like to participate in for the coming year. The AMG CG extends deepest sympathy to the Croach family on their sad loss.

Harvest Thanksgiving Services: A Harvest Thanksgiving Service will be held in the Ardagh Church of Ireland Group of Parishes on Sunday 14th October in Kenagh Church at 3pm. There will be a guest Preacher, which will be followed by tea in the Hall. Everyone is welcome to the Service and the refreshments. In the words of the well known Harvest Hymn “Come, ye thankful people, come, Raise the song of harvest home”.

Club Ardagh: After school Club at Club Ardagh (located on the grounds of St. Mel’s National School).  Places still available from 2 - 3:10pm, 2 - 6pm and 3:10 - 6pm.  Junior Infants through to 6th class welcome. Children are able have their dinner, to do their homework and play in a safe supervised environment.  CCS Subvention rates available to those eligible. Flexibility in booking - whether it be for 1 day, 3 days or 5 days per week. To book a place or enquire about fees, please contact Club Ardagh (043 66 75797 or 086 125 0549). (All children must be registered in advance).

Halloween Mid-term Camp: At Club Ardagh from 30/10 - 2/11. Daily Schedule: Tues. (Fun & Games Day), Wed. (Outdoor Exploring & Dress Up), Thurs. (Sports), Fri. Film Day & Back to School Party), Time: 9:30 - 3pm. Ages: 3 - 12 years welcome. Cost: 15 euro per day (dinner included). Activities include: Arts & Crafts, Face Painting, Air Hockey, Wii Games, Snakes and Ladders, Indoor & Outdoor Games & More.
