Longford Community Games celebrate 40th anniversary

2013 will see Longford Community Games mark their 40th anniversary and in honour of this milestone they have decided to launch a commemorative book celebrating 40 years of Community Games in Longford.

If you wish to contribute with either information or photographs please contact Regional Development Officer David Hoysted at 086 0201495. The deadline for submissions is 30 September 2012.

Also in honour of the 40th anniversary celebrations, the All-Ireland Pitch and Putt community games competitions will be hosted at the Acres Pitch and Putt grounds in Ballinalee in 2013. This Friday 7 September will see the launch of this event, along with the commemorative book, in Rawles Pub Ballinalee at 10pm.
